Tripwire Presents, the publishing division of Tripwire Interactive, is expanding its work with smaller independent developers. The new program will provide publishing support scaled to the size of each project and aims to help selected indie games reach more players.

According to Tripwire, support will draw on the company’s existing relationships with storefronts and platforms, as well as its experience with promotional planning, pricing and sales. The initiative is part of Tripwire Presents’ existing publishing structure and is intended to feature quality indie games across different genres and platforms.

Publishing Director Bryan West said the program is designed to bring greater visibility to self-published games that the company believes will appeal to Tripwire fans. He described the developers as having handled both the creation and promotion of their games themselves, and said Tripwire hopes to help them reach a broader audience.

The program launches with five games: The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire, Starforged Legacy, One-Eyed Likho, Eslabong and Mars Attracts, an attraction-management simulator based on the Mars Attacks movie license.
